About 2 weeks ago, I was blessed to have 3 of my sisters, my parents, and 10 of my nieces and nephews come and stay with us!

I wanted to make sure they felt very welcome!

a crafty shower

I threw a shower for my pal the other day. I decided to make it a crafty affair. I've always wanted to do a onesie clothesline at a shower...so I did one!

I was so excited to get to use my wishblade! It took my a while to figure out exactly how the machine works and how exactly to get the banner to be perfect, but I think it turned out pretty well!

Christmas is coming...

Sister4 sent me a pretty spectacular package. In in I found the cutest, most unique advent I've ever seen. It consists of 25 individually wrapped packages, each containing an activity to help bring the spirit of Christmas into our home (like watch a Christmas movie, or do something kind for someone NOT in your family).

And, the package held this!

Handmade. No cricut cutter or anything!

Last Thanksgiving I was lamenting the fact that I had never seen a cute Thanksgiving decoration and it's true, I think very few actually exist. Well, luckily for me, sister4 made one of these for me too!

I am thankful for crafty sisters!!

And that I have this to hang above my window!!

my sis k-stone has done it again!  i've looked for years for some sort of cute, yet not cheesy thanksgiving decorations and have been quite unsuccessful.  but this i would gladly hang in my home. she found the idea on etsy but tweaked it to make it her own.  it's all done on paper.  she found stencils for the shapes at hobby lobby and printed the letters on brown paper and cut them out.  i think she should sell these.  i'd be first in line!
